When PUBG MOBILE released 100 limited-edition skateboards designed by a PDP competition winner from the MENA region, it presented an opportunity to take the brand beyond the screen and into real-world culture. Instead of treating it as a simple merchandise drop, the idea evolved into a live skateboarding competition — built to authentically connect gaming with street culture.
BME transformed this vision into a fully integrated Brand x Culture activation, bringing PUBG MOBILE DROP & FLEX to life at El Gezira Youth Club in Cairo.
The event was designed as a high-energy skateboarding competition featuring valuable cash prizes, judged by respected OG figures from Egypt’s skate scene. Three winners were crowned on the day, in front of hundreds of attendees who gathered to witness the action.
Rather than a traditional esports event, the concept merged gaming identity with true street credibility — creating an authentic platform where skaters, gamers, creators, and fans connected through shared passion, talent, and culture.
